An excellent North Carolina note that was payable in Spanish milled dollars pursuant to an Act of Assembly passed at Hillsborough, North Carolina on August 8, 1778. Printed by James Davis. The motto is "Union of Hearts the Strength of Interests." Signed by J. Burk. This note has been authenticated, graded Very Fine 25 by Paper Money Guaranty and encapsulated in a tamper evident holder.
