This Continental note is signed by William Stretch and John Leacock a famous Pennsylvania playwright and philosopher. To learn more about this famous patriot click on his name. The emblem on the front of this note is a wreath on a tomb with the motto "SI RECTE FACIES" (If you act righteously you will be honored after death). Printed by Hall & Sellers of Philadelphia on paper watermarked "CONFEDERATION." This note has been authenticated, graded Very Fine 30 with Exceptional Paper Quality by Paper Money Guaranty and encapsulated in a tamper evident holder.
